These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website www.romexgroup.co.uk and the services provided by ROMEX BUILDING SERVICE LTD ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services

We specialise in house extensions, loft conversions, and full home refurbishments. Details of each service will be provided in individual quotations or contracts.

2. Quotations and Bookings

All quotes are valid for 30 days. A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a booking. Work will not commence until a signed contract and deposit are received.

3. Payment Terms

Payments must be made according to the schedule outlined in the contract. Late or missed payments may result in work suspension and additional fees.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

If you cancel your project more than 14 days before the start date, you may be eligible for a partial refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date may result in full forfeiture of the deposit.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the property is accessible for construction
  • Obtain all necessary permissions and approvals
  • Provide accurate information regarding the project requirements

6. Project Changes

Any modifications to the original scope of work may result in additional charges and impact the project timeline. Changes must be agreed upon in writing.

7. Liability and Insurance

We hold appropriate insurance for our services. However, we are not liable for pre-existing conditions of the property or delays caused by external factors such as weather or third-party suppliers.

8. Warranty

We offer a 12-month defects liability period covering workmanship. Product warranties are subject to manufacturers' terms.

9. Health and Safety

We comply with UK health and safety regulations. Clients are responsible for ensuring the site is safe and accessible during the project.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate services if payment terms are breached or if unsafe working conditions are present. Clients are responsible for paying for all work completed up to the termination date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the UK courts.
